ALTERNATIVE TRANSPARENT TECHNOLOGY
We offer a wide selection of alternative transparent screen technologies including Transparent LED Displays, Transparent LCD Screens – which are ideal for applications that require a small transparent display with sizes as small as 9.7”. We also offer other LED solutions including modular indoor and outdoor LED screens with pixel pitches starting from 1.5mm up to 20mm.
It’s a digital display where the screen itself is highly transparent, allowing viewers to see through it to the environment or product placed behind the screen. It uses Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) technology, meaning each pixel produces its own light. This eliminates the need for a backlight, which is what makes traditional screens opaque.
The transparency level is 43%. This percentage is carefully balanced to ensure maximum clarity for both the displayed digital content (text, graphics, video) and the physical object or background visible through the screen. When the display is switched off, it looks like a tinted piece of glass.
Transparent OLED offers superior image quality compared to other transparent technologies (like transparent LCD). Because OLED pixels are self-illuminating, they deliver:

Yes, but with caveats. Transparent OLEDs perform best in controlled indoor lighting environments, such as retail windows, lobbies, or museum exhibits, where the light behind the screen is managed. They have high brightness, but direct, intense sunlight can make the digital content appear less vibrant. We recommend placement where harsh direct sun exposure is minimised for optimal effect.
Yes, models are available with Projected Capacitive (PCAP) multi-touch technology. This allows for highly responsive interaction, turning the transparent screen into an engaging, futuristic touch kiosk for product configurators, information guides, or interactive advertisements.
