TRANSPARENT LED MODULES
Transparent LED technology provides an effective alternative to traditional large-format LED screens, allowing video content to be displayed on glass surfaces while still maintaining visibility through the display. Individual LEDs are mounted along slim horizontal rails and programmed to display pixel colours, working together to create full-colour video content. Because the LEDs are arranged on these narrow slats, the display maintains a level of transparency similar to a louvre or slatted blind effect, allowing light and visibility through the screen while still delivering impactful digital advertising. This makes Transparent LED Screens particularly suited to retail windows, glass façades and modern architectural spaces, where digital content can be added without completely blocking the view through the glass.

Transparent LED Screens can be ceiling mounted or floor mounted behind glass, providing a significantly brighter alternative to other transparent display technologies such as Transparent OLED Displays and Transparent LCD Screens. This high brightness makes them particularly suitable for daylight-visible window displays and glass façade installations. Our Transparent LED Displays are manufactured using 500 x 500 mm, 1000 x 500 mm, or 1000 mm x 1000 mm panels which can be seamlessly joined to create large format displays to the client’s size requirements. This allows for enormous screens bigger than the likes of Transparent LCD video walls, but significantly brighter. This technology not only provides a cost effective way to create a transparent video wall when compared to the likes of Transparent OLEDs used in the same way, its 4000 – 6000 nits brightness carries your message further whilst still allowing light to pass through the screen. Its inherent transparency offers a refreshing and ideal solution for hi-tech environments, dazzling audiences and spectators with the creative use of such technology, ensuring that your business, brand or message will not only be noticed, but hard to forget.
ALTERNATIVE TRANSPARENT TECHNOLOGY
We offer a wide selection of alternative transparent screen technologies including, Transparent LCD Screens which are ideal for applications that require a small transparent display with sizes as small as 9.7”. We also offer other LED solutions including modular indoor and outdoor LED screens with pixel pitches starting from 1.5mm up to 20mm.
Transparent LED screens are constructed by using rows of LED light bars mounted on transparent glass with small gaps in between to create transparency, offering the brightness of a standard LED screen with the benefit of light still being able to pass through.
Yes, transparent LEDs are visible in daylight. Whilst they have the maximum impact when used at night, transparent LEDs are still a more powerful display choice for daylight use when compared to LCD or projection technology.
When choosing the right pixel pitch, you need to know where the screen will be viewed from. If you plan to install your Transparent LED’s on a large scale like a glass building façade, we recommend opting for a larger pixel pitch designed for long-distance viewing. For storefront applications where viewers will be much closer, smaller pixel pitches are recommended for the best image quality.
Transparent LEDs use the same technology as standard LED’s but have a transparency rate of up to 75% due to their structure, not blocking out the view or light from both sides, unlike standard led technology. Transparent LEDs are also much thinner in comparison to standard LED screens, with their smaller bezel making them ideal for unobtrusive window displays.
Yes, we offer transparent LEDs that are designed for outdoor installation, with an IP65 rating suitable for all weather conditions.
