SWITCHABLE SMART FILM
Switchable Film for Privacy is a retrofit smart film that turns existing glass from clear to frosted at the touch of a button. It provides instant privacy while still allowing natural light to pass through, making it a modern alternative to blinds, curtains or traditional privacy film.
The self-adhesive design allows the film to be applied to existing windows, glass partitions and internal glazing without replacing the glass. It is ideal for meeting rooms, offices, healthcare spaces, residential interiors, retail environments and any area where privacy needs to be controlled on demand.

PDLC technology comprises a liquid crystal interlayer sandwiched between ITO and PET film layers. In it’s off (frosted) state the liquid crystals are scattered in a way that causes light waves to refract and reflect away from the surface. When an electrical current is applied the liquid crystals then align allowing light to pass through (transparent).
ELIMINATE GLARE & HEAT GAIN
Switchable smart film technology offers a UV stable / environmentally friendly solution reducing solar heat gain by up to 40%. Non-adhesive versions of our Smart Film are available for glass companies looking to laminate and create Smart Glass.
Smart glass film is predominantly used for offices, hotels, hospitals, yachts, museums and homes while more unique applications include dog pen’s, casino roulette wheels and luxury handbags to name a few!
SWITCHABLE PROJECTION FILM
Our smart window film also transforms into a projector screen allowing you to display 4K or HD content directly on the film using rear projection. Custom front projection options are also available on request.
Smart Glass film can be installed onto existing glass or Plexiglas without the need for water or any additional adhesives. Simply peel and stick to install the smart film with a squeegee and then wire back to the transformer. The transformer can then be switched on or off using our stylish RF remotes, a standard light switch or automation system.
